Sergey Bezrodny, born in Moscow into a family of musicians, studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory.  In 1979 this unequalled harpsichordist, organist and chamber music player joined the Virtuosos of Moscow and was for many years a regular music partner of Valdimir Spivakov’s, with whom he recorded several albums.  Since 2003 he has been working with the N.P.R., while continuing to perform as a soloist and in chamber ensembles.  Bezrodny, a musician with a vast repertoire, remains one of the most loyal “pillars” of the Colmar Festival where he has been giving concerts since 1989!
