Vasily Ladjuk, a soloist at the New Opera of Moscow and a guest soloist at the Bolchoi, won several international voice competitions, including the Francisco Vinas competition and the Placido Domingo competition (Operalia) of Madrid. Since 2006, he has been acclaimed on the stages of La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Monnaie in Brussels, the Liceo in Barcelona, the Mariinsky in St. Petersburg and La Fenice in Venice. The Russian baritone will perform at the Festival of Colmar in two major works by Rachmaninov.
