A deserving heir of the French trumpet school, this young musician, who is barely thirty, generous and uncomplicated, offers an impressive sonority and musicality at each of his appearances. In 2009, Romain Leleu earned the title of “Instrumental Soloist Revelation” given by the “Victoires de la Musique Classique.” An exceptionally gifted soloist and chamber musician, he is coming to the Festival of Colmar for the first time with his string ensemble Les Convergences with a festive and original program.
