Anastasia Belukova, Soprano
Anastasia Belukova studied acting and singing at the Moscow State Theater Academy, under music director Vladimir Ponkin and stage director Dmitry Bertman. She was a laureate of the Moscow Vocal competition Romnsiada.
Her repertoire includes arias from operas, operettas, musicals, as well as Russian romances and songs. At present, Belukova is a soloist at Moscow's Novaya Opera Theatre. There, she has appeared in Mozart's The Magic Flute (The First Dame), Glinka's Ruslan and Lyudmila (Lyudmila), Rossini's Barber of Seville (Rosina). She has given short performances of Maria Callas, Rossini, and Bravissimo. Belukova has also been in Helicon-Opera's performances of Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov (Ksenia), Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro (Barbarina), Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades (Prilepa), and Strauss' The Bat (Adel). She played the role of Pamina in Mozart's The Magic Flute, at last year's RNO Grand Festival
Belukova has collaborrated with the conductors Vladimir Spivakov, Vladimir Ponkin, S. Lisenko, Eri Klas, D. Volosnikov, E. Samoilov and K. Chudovsky. Last year she participated in the International Festival at Colmar, where she performed Bach's concert arias with Vladimir Spivakov’s quartet. She has also participated in master-classes by D. Vdovin, D. Zola, and R. Bado, and is a regular participant at Moscow's International School of Vocal Arts.
