To start the 32nd Colmar Music Festival with a bang, Vladimir Spivakov is passing his baton to one of the greatest French conductors of his generation: Pierre Bleuse, and picking up his favourite instrument, the violin, to perform one of Ivry Gitlis' signatures: Berg's Concerto – a monument to 20th century violin and orchestra music – alongside two major pieces by Beethoven in the year we celebrate his 250th anniversary!
