Vladimir Spivakov (who you'll know for conducting Isaac Schwartz's Yellow Stars symphony) is joined by several of his violin and cello-playing colleagues this evening. Alongside him are two young talents from the new generation, Clara-Jumi Kang on violin and Alexander Ramm on cello, and one of the biggest international violin stars for the second time at the Colmar Festival: Maxim Vengerov!
