The festival's family concert is always eagerly awaited by young and old alike! This year, Alexandra Dariescu, a talented Romanian pianist, presents a magical show in which Tchaikovsky's famous music is combined with extraordinary visual creations.

Music, dance, digital animations and hand-drawn visual effects accompany the pianist and a ballerina on stage for a reimagined version of the tale.

The music includes 15 virtuoso movements from Tchaikovsky's original score, arranged by Mikhail Pletnev, Stepan Esipoff, Percy Grainger and three new adaptations by Gavin Sutherland.

This modern tale has been performed more than 75 times around the world since its creation in 2017 and has been acclaimed by international critics.
