Masaki Morishita, Violin
At the age of three, Masaki Morishita expressed to his parents his desire to learn the violin and received his first instrument on his fourth birthday. Since then, he has pursued a musical career of great depth, which has taken him from Toho Gakuen Music High School, where he studied with Yumino Toyoda, to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, in Olivier Charlier's class. He is currently studying for his Diploma in Performing Arts.
Appreciated for the sincerity of his playing, the solidity of his technique and the richness of his sound palette, he has received encouragement from violinists such as Pierre Fouchenneret, Julien Szulman and Nemanja Radulović, whom he met at the Académie Jaroussky in 2024. Active in France, Japan and internationally, he has performed at the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier Festival and as a soloist with the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine.
A curious and committed musician, he also devotes himself to chamber music with the Akané Duo and the Tri'Oxymore trio, and since 2022 has been exploring the practice of playing period instruments, notably as an academician of the Insula orchestra. A laureate of several foundations, including Banque Populaire, Safran and Or du Rhin, he currently plays a 1698 Giovanni Grancino violin on loan from the Paris Conservatoire.
