Trio Zeliha,
The Trio Zeliha was formed in 2018, the result of the artistic collaboration between Manon Galy, Maxime Quennesson and Jorge Gonzalez Buajasan.
The three musicians have won numerous international competitions (Clara Haskil, KlavierOlymp in Bad Kissingen / Jascha Heifetz, Ginette Neveu / Barsbash Bach, etc.). In 2021, Jorge and Manon won first prize and all the special prizes at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition as a duo. Manon was also named Revelation of the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2022.
Keen to perform a wide-ranging repertoire, the Zeliha Trio has appeared at prestigious venues such as the La Roque d'Anthéron Festival, Les Folles Journées de Nantes and Tokyo, the Berlioz Festival, the Rencontres Musicales d'Evian, the Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival and the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad.
The trio regularly performs Beethoven's Triple Concerto alongside orchestras such as the ONPL under the baton of Gabor Takacs-Nagy and, more recently, on tour with the OCL and Renaud Capuçon, who are among their regular chamber music partners. They will make their debut with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and Bertrand De Billy in January 2025.
Released in 2019 by Mirare, their first recording received praise from Menahem Pressler and Alfred Brendel, as well as 5 Diapasons, 5 stars from Classica and was named ‘Editor's Choice’ by Gramophone. A new recording dedicated to Schubert and Shostakovich's 2nd trios was released in May 2024 on the same label.
After working with Claire Désert, the Wanderer Trio, François Salque and Luc-Marie Aguera, the three friends are currently perfecting their skills at the Queen Elisabeth Royal Chapel in Waterloo.
Les Zeliha are part of the Beau Soir Production company, under the aegis of Renaud Capuçon, and are in residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation. They are each laureates of the Banque Populaire, Safran and Charles Oulmont foundations.
